Viewing distance on Lcd Tvs - finding Clearly on a Lcd Tv

If you have ever tried to watch an Lcd television, or if you have tried to look at an Lcd computer monitor, you may observation that the photograph does not have the same ability from every viewing angle. An Lcd television is not quite the same as a photograph tube television and there are some rules you need to follow in order to get the maximum viewing enjoyment from your Lcd television.

One of the terms you should come to be customary with when it comes to determining the distance you should sit from your Lcd television is aspect ratio. Aspect ratio is basically the size of the image on the screen and how the television creates the image. The suitable photograph tube televisions use an aspect division of 4:3 and for years this was more than enough for everyone. The higher your aspect ratio the great ability your picture. Hd televisions like Lcd televisions use a higher aspect ratio to get a great picture. Typically the aspect ratio for an Lcd television is 16:9. This means that the photograph is clearer even when you are sitting closer to the screen. This becomes prominent to understand later in this discussion.

Monitor Vs Hdtv

First and prominent on getting the best viewing palpate out of your Lcd television is where your eyes should be in relation to the screen. With a photograph tube you can look at the screen from almost any angle and still see the picture. But with an Lcd television you need to have your eyes even with the middle of the screen in order to view the photograph on the screen properly. Go ahead and try finding at your Lcd television from separate angles and you will see the difference. The ideal location for your eyes is right in the middle of the screen.

What about the distance you should be seated from the screen in order to see the photograph clearly? This is where the insight of aspect division becomes important. Because Lcd televisions have a higher aspect ratio their photograph is much clearer even when you are sitting close to the screen. Many people use the rule of two arm's lengths to determine how far they should sit from their Lcd television. What that means is you place yourself two arm's lengths from the center of the screen. Of procedure if you have a larger screen then you may want to move yourself back a bit added just to make sure you are able to see the entire screen. But the remarkable thing about Lcd televisions is that you can sit as close as you want and you will still be able to see the photograph clearly. That is the advantage of Lcd televisions using high definition.

After seeing a few unboxing videos, and getting bored one day I decided to unbox my TV (all the way). I got it on June 20th (2009, of course) as one of my 16th birthday presents, and I never really opened it because my parents said I couldn't put it up until they moved me to a bigger room. I didn't have time on the camera to get out the stand (last thing), but I guess I did the majority of the unboxing, so really it is no need for a stand. I talk kind of low in the video, so you may or may not have to turn your volume up. It is my first video, and I may need work on how to unbox things, so if you could, please rate and comment. Later on, depending on how well this unboxing goes, I will do other videos.... I am a starter at this, so bear with me. Thanks for watching!!
